Nutrition for Dancers and Athletes in New York, NY
Training asks a great deal of your body. You need enough energy to get through class, rehearsals, performances, or competition—and an approach to food that you can sustain outside the studio or gym.
At Tribeca Nutrition, we provide individualized nutrition counseling for dancers, performers, and athletes in New York City. We help you find practical ways to fuel your work while paying attention to your health and your relationship with food.

Support for the way you actually train
A demanding schedule can make eating consistently difficult. You may have little time between rehearsals, feel unsure what to eat before a performance, or struggle to recover after a long training day. Food and body pressures can add another layer of stress.
Depending on your needs, our work together may include:
-
Building reliable meals and snacks around class, training, and performance
-
Planning food for busy days, travel, and changing schedules
-
Supporting energy and recovery with enough food and fluids
-
Finding practical options when you have limited time or access to food
-
Addressing food rules, body image concerns, or anxiety about eating
You do not need to have an eating disorder to work with us. If performance goals and recovery concerns overlap, we can make space for both.

What happens in a nutrition consultation?
Your first appointment is 60 minutes. We’ll learn about your training schedule, nutrition history, goals, and any challenges around food. Together, we’ll identify changes that are realistic for your life.
Follow-up visits are 45 minutes. They give us time to see what is working, make adjustments, and plan for upcoming training or performances. Guidance is tailored to you; there is no single eating plan that fits every dancer or athlete.
