Rebecca Alcosser is an anti-diet Registered Dietitian based in New York City who helps you build a more peaceful, sustainable relationship with food—while also supporting your performance, health, and overall well-being.

Rebecca specializes in eating disorder recovery and performance nutrition for dancers and athletes. As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), she brings deep clinical expertise alongside a compassionate, individualized approach that meets you exactly where you are.

She has extensive experience supporting clients with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, and ARFID, and has worked across higher levels of care including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Rebecca has also led nutrition programming in mental health and substance use treatment settings, giving her a well-rounded understanding of complex clinical needs.

Rebecca’s background includes serving as the on-campus Dietitian at Barnard College of Columbia University, where she provided counseling and helped develop care protocols as part of the Eating Disorder team. She currently leads the nutrition department at the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre, supporting dancers in fueling for performance, preventing injury, and sustaining demanding training schedules.

If you work with Rebecca, here’s what you’ll get:

  • A safe, non-judgmental space where you can be honest about your struggles with food, body image, or performance pressure

  • A personalized, weight-inclusive approach that honors your body—not fights it

  • Support in healing your relationship with food, moving away from restriction, guilt, and rigid rules

  • Clear, practical guidance on how to nourish your body consistently and adequately

  • Tools to reduce anxiety around food, eating, and body changes

  • For athletes and dancers: performance-focused nutrition strategies to improve energy, strength, recovery, and injury prevention

  • Care that considers your full mental health picture, not just food behaviors

  • A collaborative experience where you feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way

Through an all-foods-fit, weight-inclusive philosophy, your work together will focus on helping you reconnect with your body, trust your internal cues, and feel more at ease around food.

Whether you’re navigating recovery, feeling stuck in food rules, or looking to optimize performance without compromising your well-being, Rebecca will support you in creating a sustainable path forward.

And if you’re in the Tribeca office, you might even get a visit from Rebecca’s sweet pup, Ember—always ready to provide a little extra comfort.

Christina Chagaris, RD

Christina-Chagaris-Nutritionist-Dietitian

Christina is a Registered Dietitian who helps you build a calmer, more trusting relationship with food—one that supports both your mental well-being and your physical goals.

She specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating, with extensive experience working at the partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care. Christina has supported clients navigating anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, orthorexia, OSFED, and co-occurring conditions such as OCD and neurodivergence. Her approach is rooted in Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size (HAES), and a non-diet philosophy—meaning your care is compassionate, personalized, and never one-size-fits-all.

Christina also brings a unique perspective as a lifelong dancer who trained at the Joffrey Ballet School. She understands firsthand the pressures, expectations, and nutritional demands that dancers and athletes face. Through her work with Division I athletes at Long Island University Post, she has helped clients fuel for performance while maintaining a balanced, healthy mindset around food.

This combination of clinical expertise and lived experience allows Christina to bridge the gap between eating disorder recovery and performance nutrition—so you don’t have to choose between healing your relationship with food and supporting your goals.

If you work with Christina, here’s what you’ll get:

  • A safe, supportive space where you can openly explore your relationship with food, body image, and performance pressures

  • A non-diet, weight-inclusive approach that prioritizes your well-being over rigid rules or external expectations

  • Guidance to rebuild trust with your body, including hunger, fullness, and internal cues

  • Tools to reduce food anxiety, guilt, and all-or-nothing thinking

  • Support navigating co-occurring challenges like OCD, perfectionism, or neurodivergence

  • For dancers and athletes: realistic, sustainable fueling strategies to improve energy, recovery, and performance—without restriction

  • A collaborative, individualized plan that evolves with you and your needs

  • Care that supports both your emotional and physical health, not just what’s on your plate

Christina’s goal is to help you feel more at ease with food, more connected to your body, and more confident in how you nourish yourself—whether you’re in recovery, feeling stuck in disordered patterns, or looking to support your performance in a sustainable way.

Outside of sessions, you’ll likely find her dancing, practicing yoga, hiking, or continuing to expand her knowledge in holistic nutrition and sports performance—all of which inform the well-rounded, grounded care she brings to her clients.

Sarah Liao, MS, RD

Sarah-Liao-Nutritionist-Dietitian

Sarah Liao is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University who helps you build a more compassionate, sustainable relationship with food—free from guilt, shame, and rigid rules.

Sarah is passionate about making nutrition care inclusive, accessible, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. She has worked with diverse and underserved communities and brings that commitment into every session, ensuring you feel seen, heard, and supported no matter your background or starting point.

With experience in eating disorder treatment settings, Sarah has supported clients through individual counseling, group nutrition sessions, meal support, and meal planning. She understands that recovery is not just about what you eat—it’s about how you feel around food, your body, and yourself.

Her approach is rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES), intuitive eating, and a non-diet philosophy. This means your work together will focus on helping you reconnect with your body, honor your needs, and create habits that feel realistic and sustainable—not forced or restrictive.

If you work with Sarah, here’s what you’ll get:

  • A warm, judgment-free space where you can talk openly about food, body image, and your experiences

  • A culturally sensitive, inclusive approach that respects your background, values, and identity

  • Support in letting go of food rules, guilt, and shame around eating

  • Guidance to reconnect with your body’s cues—like hunger, fullness, and satisfaction

  • Help building flexible, sustainable habits that actually fit your life

  • Experience-based support for eating disorder recovery, including practical tools and real-life strategies

  • A collaborative process where your voice and preferences are central to your care

  • Encouragement to build a relationship with food that feels calm, balanced, and freeing

Sarah believes food is deeply personal—shaped by culture, upbringing, and life experiences—and your care should reflect that. Her goal is to help you feel more confident, more connected to your body, and more at peace with food.

If you’re looking for support in healing your relationship with food and creating a more balanced, nourishing way of eating, Sarah would love to connect and support you on your journey.

Does this sound like you?

  • You constantly find yourself saying, “I’ll start my diet on Monday,” only to feel out of control or chaotic with food over the weekend

  • You avoid keeping certain foods (like ice cream) in the house because you’re afraid you’ll eat it all in one sitting

  • You spend more time thinking about food than actually enjoying it

  • You feel “on track” during the day… and out of control at night

  • You go back and forth between “being really good” and “what’s the point?”

  • You open the fridge multiple times, not sure what you’re even looking for

  • You feel guilty after eating—even when you’re just hungry

  • You try to eat “perfectly,” but it never feels like enough

  • You avoid social plans because food will be involved

  • You can plan meals for everyone else… but feel stuck when it comes to yourself

  • You don’t trust your hunger—or feel like it can’t be trusted

  • You feel like once you start eating certain foods, you won’t be able to stop

  • You’ve read all the nutrition advice… but still feel confused about what to eat

  • You eat differently when you’re alone versus around others

  • You feel disconnected from your body, like you’re not sure what it needs anymore

  • You’re constantly thinking about your next “reset” or fresh start

  • You want to feel normal around food—but don’t know what that even looks like

  • You are contemplating starting a GLP-1 after years of struggling with yo-yo dieting, only to end up at a higher weight than where you started.

  • You feel stuck in cycles of restriction, guilt, and starting over

You are not alone. Our team of Dietitians at Tribeca Nutrition will help you break out of these patterns, feel more peace around food, and build a relationship with your body & eating that feels calm, consistent, and sustainable.

Initial Consultation

Your first visit is a 60-minute session designed to truly get to know you. During this time, you’ll meet with a member of our team to explore your nutrition history, medical background, and relationship with food in a supportive, judgment-free space.

Together, we’ll identify your goals, begin to understand your unique needs, and create a personalized treatment plan that feels realistic and aligned with your life. You’ll leave with clear next steps and a plan for ongoing support through follow-up sessions tailored to you.

Follow up visits

Each 45-minute follow-up session is your dedicated space for ongoing support, reflection, and progress. Together, we can explore your patterns with food, process challenges that came up during the week, and work through anything that feels stuck or overwhelming.

You’ll receive personalized, practical nutrition guidance tailored to your goals—whether that’s improving consistency with eating, reducing food anxiety, supporting recovery, or optimizing performance. These sessions are designed to meet you where you are, helping you build skills, confidence, and a more grounded, sustainable relationship with food over time.

Meal Support

Struggling with accountability at meal times? Wish you had support getting through a meal or snack without stress or second-guessing?

Meal support sessions offer a safe, supportive space to eat alongside a member of our team. During these sessions, you’ll share a meal or snack in real time while receiving gentle guidance, encouragement, and practical support if challenges come up.

Compared to a typical follow-up visit, meal support is more relaxed and conversational—giving you the opportunity to build confidence, stay present with your food, and practice meeting your nutrition goals in a low-pressure environment.

These sessions are designed to help you feel more at ease with eating, strengthen consistency, and remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.
